Privacy
DecisionSheet has no accounts, no sign-up, no ads and no forms that collect your name or email address. This page describes what does happen when you use the site.
Your calculator inputs
- The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to a DecisionSheet server, and DecisionSheet does not store them.
- As you change an input, the calculator writes the scenario into the page address (the part after the “?”), so that it can be bookmarked or shared. That address is kept in your browser history like any other. Anyone you send a link to sees the inputs in it, and the address, inputs included, reaches the hosting and analytics services below when a page loads.
- CSV exports are created in your browser and saved directly to your device. “Share Scenario” copies the page address to your clipboard; nothing is uploaded.
Analytics
- The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-97YL7XBR4W) to count visits and see which pages and calculators are used. Google Analytics receives information such as the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Because calculator inputs live in the page address, the address it receives can include them.
- The site's own code sends Google Analytics no custom events, user identifiers or calculator results. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (
_gaand_ga_97YL7XBR4W) to tell repeat visits apart. DecisionSheet's own code sets no cookies and uses no local storage. - To opt out, you can block the script in your browser or use Google's opt-out browser add-on. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Fonts
Pages load the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details as with any web request.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives each request, including your IP address, the full page address (with any calculator inputs in it) and your browser's user agent, and keeps request logs for a limited time. Cloudflare also asks browsers to report connection errors to it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
